1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Turf, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Turf. If you use Turf for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. These Terms take effect on 3 September 2026.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 and legally capable of using Turf. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Turf only with the permission and supervision required by the laws that apply to you.
3. What the service provides
The service helps people discover public calisthenics areas, basketball courts, football pitches, and related outdoor sports facilities. Features may include map search, location information, photos, external map links, place submissions, corrections, and support. We may add, remove, suspend, or change features at any time.
4. No guarantee of place information
Listings may be based on public sources, community submissions, or third-party services. Places, access rules, opening hours, amenities, photos, safety conditions, names, and map positions can change. We do not guarantee that any listing is complete, accurate, current, safe, lawful to access, or suitable for your intended activity. Confirm important details with the venue, landowner, or local authority before visiting.
5. Safety and assumption of risk
Outdoor exercise and sport involve risks, including injury, equipment failure, weather, traffic, unsafe surfaces, other users, and changing site conditions. You are responsible for assessing conditions, following posted rules, using appropriate equipment, respecting closures, and deciding whether an activity is safe for you. The service does not provide medical, fitness, coaching, emergency, or safety advice. Seek qualified advice when needed.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Turf unlawfully; interfere with its security or operation; introduce malware; bypass access controls or location checks; overload, scrape, crawl, automate, reproduce, or resell the service or its data at harmful or commercial volume without written permission; impersonate another person; submit false, misleading, private, dangerous, discriminatory, infringing, or unlawful material; collect personal information about others without authority; or use Turf to harass, endanger, track, or mislead anyone.
7. Place submissions and corrections
You may submit only factual information about genuinely public facilities. A Google Maps or equivalent listing must clearly identify the place and, where required, show clear photos of the actual facility. Do not submit private gyms, members-only facilities, inaccessible locations, private homes, misleading links, or content you do not have permission to provide. We may verify, edit, combine, reject, remove, or decline to publish any submission.
8. Your content and licence
You retain any rights you hold in text, photos, videos, feedback, corrections, and other content you submit. You grant KOVA LABS PTE. LTD. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, and use that content only to operate, promote, secure, improve, and maintain Turf. You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to grant this licence and that your content does not violate law or another person’s rights. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies reasonably retained in backups or where continued retention is legally required.
9. Our intellectual property
Turf’s software, design, branding, compilation, original text, and other materials are owned by KOVA LABS PTE. LTD. or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Turf for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.
10. Third-party services
The service may display map tiles, link to Google Maps or other listing providers, load media from cloud storage, or rely on third-party hosting and infrastructure. Third-party services are controlled by their providers and may have separate terms, privacy policies, fees, availability, and technical requirements. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or actions.
11. Reports, moderation, and removal
You may report an inaccurate listing, unsafe location, privacy concern, rights violation, or prohibited submission in the app or through https://theturfapp.com/support.html. We may investigate and remove content, restrict accounts, correct listings, or take other appropriate action, but we are not required to monitor every listing or resolve every dispute. We may preserve relevant information when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TURF IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” KOVA LABS PTE. LTD. DISCLAIMS EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KOVA LABS PTE. LTD. AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY; OR INJURY, LOSS, OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM A PLACE, ACTIVITY, THIRD-PARTY SERVICE, OR RELIANCE ON LISTING INFORMATION. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF S$100 OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR TURF DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Responsibility for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use of Turf, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights. This provision does not reduce any consumer right or protection that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Suspension and termination
We may impose a temporary or permanent suspension, remove content, or discontinue access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security risk, ban evasion, malicious repeat accounts, legal requirements, or harm to users or third parties. You may stop using the service at any time. If you request account deletion, the account is deactivated for 30 days and restored if you sign back in during that period; otherwise deletion becomes permanent. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Turf, law, or the business. We will post the updated version, change the effective date, and provide notice in the app or by email for material changes when required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through https://theturfapp.com/support.html for 30 days. Mandatory consumer protections in the place where you live continue to apply.
18. General terms
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganisation, financing, merger, or sale. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the service unless another written agreement expressly applies.
